Taylor Swift proudly loses her cool at husband Travis Kelce’s game: ‘He married me’

Taylor and Travis, both 36, got hitched in a highly publicised ceremony on July 3, with anyone who is anyone packing out Madison Square Garden in New York for the lavish occasion. From Hugh Grant and Ed Sheeran to Zoe Kravitz and Reese Witherspoon, around 1,000 guests filled the venue, which was transformed into a whimsical woodland complete with a red carpet, so you’d never know it normally hosts concerts and sporting events. Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony because, well, of course, although Taylor’s dress remains a secret, as no photos of the bride and groom have emerged yet, and attendees had their phones taken away. One thing Taylor has proudly shown off, however, is her wedding ring, which she flashed at the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Indianapolis Colts last night. It marked tight end Travis’s first game of the 2026 NFL season, and he started off in style by scoring a touchdown. The moment he reached the end zone in the first quarter quickly went viral, more so for wife Taylor’s reaction as she excitedly yelled out, ‘That’s my husband!’ while pointing to her wedding band. Taylor, who has become a regular at Arrowhead Stadium since she started dating Travis in summer 2023, was also seen celebrating with Travis’s dad, Ed, hugging him and declaring, ‘He married me!’ Sporting a Chiefs camisole and a new short haircut, the Blank Space singer was joined by her own parents as well as her in-laws in the suite, plus a bunch of friends, with cameras frequently panning to them. On social media, Swifties were living for the sweet interactions and Taylor’s proud wifey cheering, with @sammisny writing: ‘The way that she just seems over the moon to be his wife and won’t stop talking about it is so cute’. @Whogabanywayew on X added that they are ‘so happy for her’, and @lastkiss158 wrote, ‘feeling lowkey parasocial about this ngl i love seeing her so happy’. @KimColeman30931 said Taylor is ‘glowing with happiness’, as others said watching her so ‘locked in’ for the game was ‘adorable’. Taylor was well and truly invested during the match, even declaring ‘b******t’ at one point when she didn’t agree with a decision and placing her hands on the glass while focusing intently on the action. And it appears she was a lucky charm, as the Chiefs emerged victorious in extra time, which finished 33-30. The game follows Travis’s comments about his wedding during an interview on ESPN. Ahead of his first game of the season, anchor Chris Berman asked him: ‘I heard you got married. Is this true?’ ‘This is true, this is true,’ Travis responded, adding: ‘It was the best night of my life. He called it ‘a night out we’ll never forget’, saying the newlyweds are ‘so thankful for everybody who showed up’. ‘From the vows to just seeing everyone to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening and hearing that be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night… it was just so magical, man.’ While specifics remain under wraps, with guests seemingly sworn to secrecy, celebs like Este Haim described it as ‘glorious’. Oh, my God. What’s it gonna be like?” And then you went through these big curtains and the cars there, and you get out of the car.
