Taylor Swift Drops First Look at “Patient Zero” Music Video—a Moody Drama Starring Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell

Taylor Swift is truly feeding us. First, the Grammy winner announced that her new song “Patient Zero” is incoming on Friday, September 25. THEN she went ahead and revealed that The Life of a Showgirl: Encore is also coming September 25. THEN fans figured out that the names of three other brand-new songs were lurking on Apple Music and Spotify, including “Cleveland!,” “Babylon,” and “Pink Clouding.” And THEN she collaborated with CBS Mornings to give fans a sneak peek at “Patient Zero.”The video is moody to say the least (the graveyard scene!), and it stars Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell:The full video will drop during the VMAs, which are going down on Sunday, September 27, at 7:30 p.m. ET in Los Angeles. On top of debuting her full music video, Taylor’s going to be getting the MTV VMA Artist Director Honors, which recognizes “groundbreaking music artists whose work behind the camera has expanded the possibilities of music video and advanced the art of visual storytelling.”She isn’t confirmed to be attending the event, but with a music video drop, a groundbreaking honor, and the fact that she’s now the most awarded artist at the VMAs, it seems pretty likely she’ll be there!
