Swift one-ups Maroon 5 for the mark, dating to the chart’s debut in Billboard in March 1996. P!nk ranks third with 10 No. 1s, followed by Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran, each with eight. (The chart measures songs’ weekly plays, as tabulated by Mediabase and provided to Billboard by Luminate, on nearly 80 U.S. adult top 40 radio stations.)
