Tata Boeing JV rolls out 400th fuselage for AH-64E Apache from Hyderabad facility

File | Photo Credit: PTI Tata Boeing Aerospace (TBAL), a joint venture between Boeing and Tata Advanced Systems (TASL), is rolling out the 400th fuselage for the AH-64E Apache from its facility in Hyderabad.Also read: TASL to make advanced composite assemblies for Boeing Made in India, for India and the world, the fuselages underpin Apaches flown worldwide, the JV said, announcing the milestone on Monday (September 7, 2026). India has a fleet of 28 Apaches, 22 with the Indian Air Force and six with the Army.“The project, established in 2016, underscores the maturity of India’s aerospace ecosystem and its integration into global defence supply chains,” TBAL said. At the heart of the project is a 52,000 sq metre facility employing more than 750 engineers and technicians, the JV said.The 300th fuselage of the Apache attack helicopter from the facility was delivered in February 2025.
