Swapnil Asnodkar named as Kerala coach

Asnodkar. | Photo Credit: FILE PHOTO: EMMANUAL YOGINI Former Goa First Class cricketer Swapnil Asnodkar has been named as the coach of the Kerala senior men’s team for the 2026-27 domestic season.The Kerala Cricket Association, after considering his experience as coach of the Kerala under-23 cricket team, decided to appoint him as the coach of the senior team.Devika Palshikar will continue as the coach of the senior women’s cricket team. Former India cricketer Karuna Jain has been appointed as the coach of the Kerala under-19 women’s team and also as the mentor of the KCA Women’s Academy.Former Ranji Trophy captain Rohan Prem has been appointed as the chairman of the senior selection committee. Former Ranji skipper V.A. Jagadeesh and P.U. Anthaf are the other members of the selection panel.Former Kerala all-rounder K. Chandrasekhara has been appointed as the chairman of the junior selection committee. K.R Sreejith and Ranji Philip are other members.The women’s selection committee, headed by E.
