Suspect seeks frozen cocktails, steals slushi machine from Walmart: Brooklyn Police Blotter

An arriving officer talked to the caller, who said a male shopper stole a $498 slushi machine. While the suspect got away. the employee was able to identity the license plate of a 2001 Toyota Camry getaway car. Police are investigating. Suspicious screws, Delora Avenue: On July 31, a Delora Avenue resident called police after discovering “suspicious” drywall screws on his driveway. There are no suspects. Police are investigating. Knife fight, Ridge Road: On Aug. 1, police were dispatched to Applebee’s regarding an incident involving a knife at the Ridge Road restaurant. An arriving officer talked to the caller, who said a male and female got into a verbal argument with another man, who ended up pulling out a knife before fleeing the scene. There are no suspects. Police are investigating. Drug abuse, Memphis Avenue: On Aug. 3, police observed a black 2012 Chevy Cobalt with an improperly displayed license plate traveling on Memphis Avenue. That’s also when the officer learned the driver had a suspended license. During a search of the Chevy, police located multiple bags of marijuana along with a green pill that the driver confirmed was ecstasy. The Cleveland man was arrested for drug abuse, driving with a suspended license and improperly displayed license plates.
