Susanna Reid makes surprise return to GMB in a swimsuit as she FaceTimes in from ‘day rave’ at O Beach Ibiza

SUSANNA Reid made a surprise return to Good Morning Britain on FaceTime alongside a snap showing her in a swimsuit at an Ibiza “day rave”. The ITV broadcaster, 55, has often spoken about how summer trips to the White Isle with her sons are her special place and this year, her holiday held even more significance. They then video-called Susanna, Ed Balls and Kate Garraway – regular anchors of the programme who are currently on holiday – to reveal the ITV daytime show has been nominated for a National Television Award in the 2026 Daytime category. She joked: “Normally what happens in Ibiza stays in Ibiza but this morning I am on special duty for GMB”. After a slight technical delay, an image showing the O Beach dancers in white swimsuits holding cards spelling out Vote GMB flashed up. She paired her chic one-piece with blue denim shorts tied with a scarf, and gold sandals. After appearing on-air, Susanna then re-posted her O Beach snaps to Instagram with the caption: “VOTE GMB! We are up for Best Daytime Programme at the incredible @officialntas so I celebrated at one of Ibiza’s best daytime clubs @obeachibiza. “VOTE GMB link in my bio @gmb”. One fan was quick to comment: “Absolutely vote GMB!! Looking sensational Susanna!!” Another posted: “Love it,” as a third then put: “Hope you had a great day”. Meanwhile, Ed rung into the show from Norway, while Kate was in her living room – and told how she would be returning to screens on Wednesday. Susanna has previously said of her summer trips to Ibiza: “It was amazing to really enjoy it with my boys now they are old enough to go clubbing.” Opening up on her break in 2018, Susanna said: “This summer I took my boys to Ibiza. “I have been going for ten years and it was amazing to really enjoy it with my boys now they are old enough to go clubbing. “We go to the day clubs together and then I go back to the hotel and they go to the nightclubs!” Susanna shares Sam, Finn and Jack with her ex-husband Dominic Cotton.
