Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.ABC is moving forward with a new legal drama that's a mash-up of Suits and John Grisham's The Rainmaker. Deadline reports that Joey Falco and 20th Television are creating Con Law for ABC. He will also serve as an executive producer with Jordan Cerf. The series will center on a corporate attorney whose life is basically over when she's wrongly found guilty of murdering her spouse. Years later, she's finally exonerated and starts working at a defense firm in Brooklyn. Before the trial, the attorney had been defending billion-dollar corporations in court. But now she's ready to protect vulnerable individuals from those same powerful corporations. As if that didn't keep her busy enough, she's also trying to figure out the truth behind her husband's murder. As it's still very early in the development process, no cast members have been announced just yet. Also, the timeline is currently unknown for when ABC expects to premiere Con Law. There's the possibility of a midseason premiere if ABC has an open timeslot or it might wait until the 2027-2028 TV season. The network already has several shows scheduled for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. In the fall, Dancing with the Stars, R.J. Decker, America's Funniest Home Videos, Scrubs, Shark Tank, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Abbott Elementary, 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Nashville, Grey's Anatomy and 20/20 will air. Then in midseason, The Rookie spinoff The Rookie: North, debuts, along with returning shows like American Idol, The Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise, High Potential, Shifting Gears, The Rookie and Will Trent sometime in 2027. More to come...
