Strictly fans rage over major It Takes Two change: ‘If it’s not broke don’t fix it’

Fans have waved goodbye to Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman; several popular dancers have left, and most shocking of all, the series has got a new logo. And sadly, all these changes have left some viewers feeling a bit discombobulated. So far, Josh Widdecombe has unfortunately borne the brunt of the criticism, with many online being quite cruel about his presenting style. Still, Strictly viewers have another bee in their bonnet this week, and this time it’s about the show’s sister series It Takes Two. The series, which offers fans a glimpse behind the scenes as well as interviews with the judges and dancers, has a new host, Ellie Taylor. Fans aren’t happy about a change to the format(Picture: BBC One) And while fans have been pleased with Ellie, they’re less happy about a change to the format. Instead of interviewing the celebs and their dancing partners together, they’re just interviewing the contestants. On X, Siobhan asked: ‘So they’re not doing interviews with the couples? Part of the reason I watch #ItTakesTwo is to see how the chemistry between the couples is progressing and to see the couples interacting on the sofa. They like Ellie though, so that’s something! Ellie took over from professional dancer Janette Manrara and former contestant Fleur East.
