STRICTLY Come Dancing has revealed the twelfth star who’ll be waltzing round the dancefloor in the 2026 series, and they’re from the Dales. Soap star Lawrence Robb, who is known for playing Mackenzie ‘Mack’ Boyd in Emmerdale, has been unveiled as the Beeb’s latest signing of ballroom hopefuls. Speaking of his decision to hit the dancefloor, Lawrence said in an Instagram video: “Just a little video message to let you guys know that for the next couple of months, alongside strutting my stuff on the Emmerdale fields, I’m going to be strutting my stuff on the dancefloor wearing sequins and wearing dance shoes. “Because as luck would have it, I am doing Strictly Come Dancing. Help, please. Very much looking forward to it, very exciting, but I’m terrified.” He joins the eleven other celebs who have already been unveiled to fans online. The latest signing comes after celebrity dog trainer Graeme Hall of Channel 5 show Dogs Behaving (Very Badly) fame was previously announced as the eleventh Strictly star. The line-up also sees two Love Island champions taking part this year in the form of series four winner Dani Dyer and series 12’s champ star Cach Mercer. Big Brother host Will Best is another star in the mix alongside EastEnders legend Lacey Turner, Brit movie star Jaime Winstone, footy ace Shaun Wright-Phillips and Aussie pop star Delta Goodrem. Most read in TV Rounding out the line-up is House Of The Dragon actress Bethany Antonia, Paralympian Sarah Storey and Kim Kardashian‘s hairdresser Chris Appleton. Previously, The Sun exclusively revealed that newly single X Factor hunk Jake Quickenden is also in talks with Strictly bosses – though the BBC is yet to officially announce them as a contestant. The 24th series will get underway after a massive show shake-up that saw a number of pro dancers axed in what was hailed as the “Strictly Bloodbath”. The new season also welcomes a brand new presenting line-up of Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe.
