STRICTLY 2026 is set to kick-off this autumn, with seven stars already confirmed to compete for the glitterball. From Love Island winners, an Australian singer superstar, and even Kim Kardashian‘s hairdresser, a number of famous faces are signed up ready for the September launch. Lacey Turner Lacey became the first star to join the Strictly cast EastEnders legend, Lacey Turner, was the first star to be confirmed for this year’s Strictly line-up. Lacey is best known for playing Stacey Slater on the BBC soap opera, but is currently on a hiatus from the long-time BBC show. In a video shared to Instagram, Lacey said: “This September, I will be taking my little toes onto the dancefloor to do Strictly Come Dancing. “I’m so excited and so terrified at the same time but I’ve had so many friends do Strictly and I thought it was about time that I plucked up the courage and made my way onto that dance floor so there you go.” Dani Dyer Dani Dyer is set to return to Strictly after an injury last year Credit: Instagram From an EastEnders legend, to the daughter of one, Dani Dyer will join the Strictly cast again after sustaining an injury in last year’s competition. Last year, the Love Island winner was forced to pull out ahead of the first week of the competition after fracturing her ankle. Most read in TV Insiders told The Sun that Dani would love to be paired with her previous dance partner, Nikita Kuzmin, to compete for the glitterball this year. They said: “She is determined to get on the dancefloor and show the viewers what she’s made of.” Delta Goodrem Aussie star, Delta Goodrem, is taking on Strictly as well as Eurovision this year Credit: BBC Aussie singer superstar, Delta Goodrem, has signed up to take on Strictly after dominating the Eurovision Song Contest earlier this year. Shooting to international fame in soap opera Neighbours, the 41-year-old has sold millions of singles worldwide. Sources told The Sun: “Bosses really wanted Delta last year but she decided it wasn’t the right time. “After seeing her on Eurovision they doubled their efforts and they are overjoyed Delta has agreed to take part this time. “She was already a huge star in her own right, but after Eurovision she’s become a household name once more.” Chris Appleton Chris Appleton became the fourth star to join the all-new Strictly series Credit: BBC World-renowned celebrity hair stylist, Chris Appleton, was the first man announced to join the Strictly line-up. The 43-year-old is known as Kim Kardashian‘s long time stylist and best friend, creating the most glamorous looks for the socialite throughout their friendship. Will presents Big Brother alongside AJ Odudu, and hosts the Hits Breakfast Radio show with Fleur East and James Barr. His colleague Fleur, who took part in the show in 2022, went on to host the Strictly spin-off, It Takes Two, before it was axed. Rumoured Rumours have been swirling that Traitors winner Stephen Libby is in talks to join Strictly Come Dancing. The former cyber security consultant has grown a huge fan base after winning the beloved BBC One reality show. A source said: “The Strictly casting team have met with Stephen and think he could be a great fit.” In June, The Sun also revealed that I’m a Celebrity star, Jake Quickenden, was in advanced talks to join the show.
