Deivid Washington is the first of the trio set to make the switch, with the Brazilian forward lined up for a permanent move to the Ligue 1 side. Sign up for the Football newsletter Thank you! Washington has found goals hard to come by since arriving as a teenager from Santos – where he was loaned back in 2025. With the arrival of Emanuel Emegha from Strasbourg, Danny Welbeck‘s signing and the extension of Joao Pedro‘s contract, Washington’s chances of getting significant game time are much higher across the channel. And he could be joined soon after by fellow forward Omari Kellyman, with the 20-year-old Englishman also set to follow on a permanent transfer, per L’Equipe. They claim the former Aston Villa prospect will join on a deal which includes a buy-back clause. And further still, youngster Dario Essugo, who signed from Sporting for almost £19million last summer, could be next in line for a stint in France. The 21-year-old is a loan target for the club, who are looking to shore up their central midfield options. Goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen and defender Genesis Antwi both arrived on loan deals earlier in the window. Meanwhile goalkeeper Mike Penders, defender Aaron Anselmino and forward David Datro Fofana have all returned from Strasbourg loans. And with them they have brought Emegha and Valentin Barco on permanent moves to Stamford Bridge.
