Stone-faced Kim Zolciak supports 15-year-old son KJ Biermann at court following sodomy, sexual battery arrest

A stone-faced Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann steered clear of each other while appearing in court in support of their 15-year-old son, KJ Biermann, who is seeking bond in his sexual assault case. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum wore a sleek black dress and heels, while the former Atlanta Falcons linebacker was dressed in a grey top and jeans as they entered Fulton County Superior court in Atlanta, Georgia for the hearing Friday. Kim, 48, and her estranged husband, 40, arrived separately and didn’t interact with each other once they were inside the courtroom. Instagram An eyewitness told Page Six that the former football player looked “stressed” as Kim remained “stone-faced” throughout the hearing. Meanwhile, Kim was joined by her 29-year-old daughter, Brielle Biermann, who also wore a black dress. Kroy was seated in the second row of the public gallery, while Kim and Brielle were situated right behind him in the third row. An eyewitness separately spotted the exes earlier this week, describing Zolciak as “walking at a hurried pace” and seeming “hectic and scattered.” KJ’s dad also appeared distraught, according to the source. “Kroy just looked devastated. You could see it in his eyes. He seemed to be in a very somber mood,” the eyewitness said. “It is what you would expect with the week they’re having and the stakes if KJ doesn’t get bonded out of jail,” the source added.The court date marks the first time the former couple have been photographed in the same location since they were snapped at their 14-year-old son Kash’s high school football game last month. The bond hearing comes days after a hearing scheduled for Tuesday was abruptly canceled.Last week, a Georgia grand jury indicted the teenager on seven felony counts, including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, false imprisonment, and three counts of sexual battery involving a child under the age of 16. The charges stem from Biermann’s alleged acts against a victim under the age of 16 on April 23, in a Lifetime Fitness in Alpharetta, Georgia. Biermann’s attorney, Jason Sheffield, told Page Six Tuesday that they expect KJ to “enter a not guilty plea to all charges” at his upcoming arraignment and also filed a motion to “transfer to juvenile court and for confidentiality proceedings.” KJ, pictured earlier this year, was indicted by a Georgia grand jury based on an incident in a Lifetime Fitness in Alpharetta, Georgia. kimzolciakbiermann/Instagram The teenager’s bond hearing was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but was canceled. Alpharetta Police Department Zolciak has maintained her son’s innocence, telling Page Six in a statement “He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged.”“Every legitimate allegation deserves to be taken seriously and investigated based on the facts and evidence. At the same time, no one should be publicly condemned based solely on an accusation,” she wrote. Kroy has yet to speak publicly on his son’s arrest.
