Zhang is a former Novartis executive. She replaces Ying Huang, who resigned in July. With strong data, Vera to seek full approval of kidney drug Vera said this morning that its recently launched drug stabilized kidney function and reduced the risk of kidney-related death and other complications in a two-year trial of people with a chronic autoimmune kidney disease.
