Starwatch: Waning crescent moon pairs up with the Seven Sisters

Early on July 11th, skywatchers will get to see a stunning celestial event as the waning crescent moon glides past the Pleiades star cluster, also known as the Seven Sisters. This pairing might remind some of a miniature version of the Plough, but binoculars will be needed to get a good look. The best viewing will be in the early hours before dawn, particularly from locations with a clear eastern horizon. This event highlights the beauty of night sky astronomy and the importance of observing natural celestial phenomena.
