Star Wars Zero Company Players Expand Squad Size To Six

The Most Popular Star Wars Zero Company Mod Lets You Use Six Operators Published Sep 2, 2026, 8:11 AM EDT Sign in to your TheGamer account Star Wars Zero Company is a hit, particularly on PC. So, it was only a matter of time until modders started sharing their own creations for the game, making tweaks and improvements. In less than a week, 88 mods have been shared on Star Wars Zero Company's Nexus Mods page. Many of them make changes to the gameplay, but there's a clear winner that shows what players are after: larger squad sizes. Sick Of Star Wars Zero Company's Four-Person Squad Size? If You're On PC, You Can Increase It To Six Image credit: Arctco via Nexus ModsImage credit: Arctco via Nexus Mods Squad Six - Six Unit Deployment from Nexus Mods user Arctco lets you go out into missions as a larger crew. That means you have a whole lot more to do during your turn, and can train up more operators at once. Now, the game is obviously made with squads of four in mind, so you might start to find some missions too easy. But honestly, having beaten the game, there were a few missions where having a larger squad would have felt natural, especially when the enemy side had so many units that I was left waiting ages for my turn. It also means letting more of your squad mates stretch their legs out on missions. On normal difficulty, the threat of permadeath was a bit of an empty one, so I found myself with a Den full of operators who spent most of their time just sitting around. And when I did take them out, their bonds were much lower with the rest of the team. This way, you can get more of them out and about, fighting alongside each other. With all of that said, Arctco does have a mod that makes combat harder if you're finding it too easy with a squad of six. Of course, you also have the vanilla difficulty options - and even the single-save Beska mode if you're feeling particularly brave.
