Published Aug 27, 2026, 11:00 AM EDT Ben Brosofsky has been writing for Screen Rant since 2022 and editing since 2024. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor's in Cinema & Media Arts. Writing serves as a much-needed distraction from tackling a backlog of Steam games that will never be surmounted. Kabb is one of the first characters you'll meet in Star Wars Zero Company, and if you're anything like me, you'll end up bringing him along for quite a few missions. Not only does this Felshi operative have one of the most memorable personalities in the game (Anakin Skywalker's appearance notwithstanding), but he can also prove to be extremely useful on the battlefield. Kabb works best when he gets into the thick of the fight, though, which can make getting him through battles alive a bit challenging on Zero Company's higher difficulties. By crafting the perfect Kabb build, you can ensure that he not only tears through enemy lines in every fight but also lives to tell the tale in his strangely sing-song manner. Best Classes For Kabb Since Kabb's Talent in Star Wars Zero Company focuses on getting up close and personal, you'll want to pick classes that support this concept. A good first pick is Assault, which is all about that very concept. Upgrading Assault skills will allow Kabb to move around the battlefield more quickly and get more melee attacks on enemies, preventing him from having to lift a blaster unless it's necessary. Of course, this also means that Kabb will frequently be in the line of fire, which is where the Heavy spec comes in. Like the Team Fortress 2 character of the same name, this will increase Kabb's durability. If you feel like he's in constant danger early on, you can opt for this one before Assault, but it will make it harder for him to dole out damage than prioritizing Assault will. Best Skills For Kabb Kabb's unique Talent, Uppercut, should be a priority for any Kabb build. This melee attack that slams enemies backwards works much like the standard ability Bull Rush, but finishing off enemies with Uppercut will restore the Action Points used in the attack, giving Kabb the chance to arrange significantly longer and more effective turns. From the Assault spec, upgrading Fleet of Foot is essential, giving Kabb more movement across the battlefield. Upgrading Bull Rush will give him more melee power, but if you'd rather mix Uppercut with more ranged attacks, the passive Sweeping Salvo could be worth prioritizing. As far as the Heavy class goes, boosting Kabb's max health with Conditioning should come first. His ability to taunt and counter enemies with Bulwark and Unstoppable can be very useful, but there's no point drawing their fire until he can actually take it. Best Equipment For Kabb In the midst of the battlefield, survivability is of the essence, so equipping a Medpac should be a priority for Kabb. As for his first weapon mod, his proximity to enemies will put him in good position to assist characters like Hawks, so a Tracking Scope that boosts the damage provided by his assists could be a worthwhile option. Once you're adding more equipment into the mix, more aggressive options can also work well. Kabb is fun from the start in Star Wars Zero Company, and as the game goes on, the undeniable satisfaction of slamming enemies around the battlefield just keeps increasing.
