Especially when it already has online multiplayer. Thankfully, as per usual, modders are on the case. zhelan just released a new mod that adds couch co-op support for up to four players. You can select an individual class and vehicle before choosing the planet and mode where you'll compete for the top spot. The mod also ensures that danger effects and messages are individual to each player, and that if you wreck your vehicle, you won't be stuck watching a black screen. Instead, as you'd expect from a racer, you can spectate others. How To Install Zhelan's Couch Co-Op Mod Installing 'couch split screen for Galactic Racer' is simple. Download the latest release Copy 'ue4ss-build\dwmapi.dll' and 'ue4ss-build\ue4ss\' to '\Griffin\Binaries\Win64\' Place 'SWGRCouch\' into 'ue4ss\Mods\' Move 'ue4ss_signatures\*.lua' to 'ue4ss\UE4SS_Signatures\' Open 'ue4ss\Mods\mods.txt' and add the line 'SWGRCouch : 1' to the top You'll know the mod has been installed successfully if the split-screen option appears on the main menu. Unfortunately, this is only available for PC as, if you're playing on console, there's no mod support. That means split-screen co-op being added is entirely dependent on Fuse Games.
