It isn't the only officially announced Star Wars game to find itself in boiling-hot development waters, but it debatably has the most crushing weight on its shoulders in order for it to do well. This is mostly because KOTOR is unquestionably one of the best Star Wars games ever. As long as it isn’t canceled, there is hope in Star Wars’ galaxy far, far away that it will come out and be an incredible remake. Meanwhile, it hopefully won’t take as long for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic’s remake to launch as it might for a new, impressive piece of Star Wars merchandise to be released. As revealed by Sideshow, the Darth Revan Statue and Premium Format Figure, inspired by the phenomenal Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic character, has been officially revealed. This statue/figure depicts Darth Revan in all his glory, masked, armored, and robed in his iconic hooded outfit, and dual-wielding lightsabers (one with a red blade and one with a purple blade). Priced at $680 and $1,020, respectively, the Statue and Premium Format Figure are available to preorder now, with their release expected between November 2026 and February 2027. The Statue stands at 18.9” tall, while the Premium Format Figure stands at 23” tall, and an alternate portrait also reveals an unmasked Revan. Bearing witness to this statue/figure, it’s impossible not to be reminded of the KOTOR remake, especially with this stunningly realized Darth Revan looking precisely how the character does in the Knights of the Old Republic remake’s cinematic reveal teaser. Plus, with a release slated for February 2027 at the latest, it seems we can be confident that the Darth Revan statue/figure will be out well before the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake. In BioWare’s original Knights of the Old Republic, players can spend computer spikes to acquire a copy of Darth Revan’s robes, crafted by the “mystical technology of the Star Forge,” if they are attuned to the Dark Side. If they’re attuned to the light side, they’re able to craft Star Forge robes instead. However, both robe variants lack the armor that Revan previously wore and are only a pale shade of the distinguished armor that Revan used to wear in their villainous heyday before the events of KOTOR’s story. Tragically, it’s impossible for players to obtain Darth Revan’s actual whole look. This has always been deeply unsatisfying and would be the easiest layup in history for the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake to rectify.
