Comic Con, Christensen, best known for playing Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, shared a bizarre story about an attempted burglary at his home that took an unexpected turn. According to the actor, things took an unexpected turn when the intruder realized who he was stealing from. Christensen explained that the incident happened several years ago while he was at home and talking on the phone. He had been expecting a friend to arrive and initially didn't notice anything out of the ordinary when he heard someone enter the property. Instead of immediately trying to see who entered his house, he assumed his friend had arrived and let themselves in, so he continued his phone call. However, when the actor eventually went to find the person who walked into his house, he found a complete stranger who was taking several of his things. At first, he was shocked and was trying to comprehend what was happening before realizing that the person was attempting to steal from him. The situation took another surprising turn when the burglar recognized Christensen. After realizing that he had broken into the home of the Star Wars actor, the man began apologizing profusely for trying to steal from him and voluntarily returned his belongings without needing to get law enforcement involved. According to the actor's account, the man had been experiencing financial difficulties and was trying to get enough money to go back home. After learning that he was also struggling to find employment, the actor provided him with clothing and shoes for job interviews. He also offered to buy the man a train ticket home and personally drive him to the station the following day. However, the burglar never returned to take him up on his offer. Christensen did not reveal what ultimately happened to the person or whether he has encountered him since then. Christensen joined the Star Wars franchise in 2002's Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones. He then returned for Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith in 2005, which explored Anakin's transformation into Darth Vader. He eventually reprised his role in 2019's Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker through a voice cameo. Three years later, he appeared alongside Ewan McGregor in the 2022 Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi.
