We're coming up on the whopping 60th anniversary of the franchise, and there are plenty of shows to look back on and celebrate. Among them, The Next Generation and Voyager are often chosen for that task, given their critical mass of fans and the great characters to latch onto. Generations don't always cross over, but for the 60th, something is planned for this monumental anniversary. Following a new official announcement, we know something special is coming for the 60th anniversary that will finally bring multiple generations of Trek together[via TrekMovie]. Image via Paramount+ Later this year, Star Trek Online will host a massive multi-Spock event and add more content across the Trek universe, including multiple TV shows and movies. Ethan Peck, who currently plays a younger Spock in Strange New Worlds, will return to voice the character Lieutenant Spock officially. Piotr Michael will play the role of Captain Spock (from Resurgence), while some archival audio will take care of Leonard Nimoy's Spock. Sadly, Zachary Quinto doesn't seem to be involved in this project, so we only have these three Spocks this time around. Here's the full description of the event: "Rediscovered continues the remaster of Star Trek Online’s fan-favorite “The Ultimate Klingon” storyline, the story that began with Undiscovered’s reimagining. Across the galaxy, time is beginning to fracture. The disappearances of key members of the Federation and the Klingon Empire have triggered a cascade of temporal disturbances. Captains must… unravel the mystery behind the disappearances of Lieutenant Miral Paris and Ambassador B’vat,” Arc and Cryptic said of Rediscovered‘s new story mission. “Her final message on the Gateway Planet will send players on a temporal chase across Star Trek history where captains meet Spock through the ages and continue the quest to stop B’vat!" PC players will be able to try out the new multi-Spock event on September 22, when the Rediscovered update rolls out. Console players will need to wait until November 10. These aren't the only events coming to the game, either. There's going to be multiple 60th anniversary bonus items added to the game, including starships from The Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space Nine, Enterprise, and Starfleet Academy. That's all coming to Star Trek Online by February 2027, according to the latest roadmap. It's been a long journey since 2010, but the game is still going strong with updates.
