‘Star Trek Scouts’ Sets Second Season YouTube Premiere On Star Trek Day — Comic-Con

Paramount revealed today during their Star Trek session at San Diego Comic-Con that little kids’ animated series Star Trek Scouts‘ second season will debut this year on Sept. 8, Star Trek Day. The first preschool extension of the Star Trek franchise, Star Trek Scouts follows three 8-year-old friends — JR, Sprocket and Ron — as they train to become future Starfleet Explorers by going on epic, out-of-this-world missions that push them to “discover, grow and boldly go!” Last season ended with the Star Trek friends fending off a Kingon farmer’s corn crops from little pink aliens (specifically, Tribbles). Scouts JR, Roo, and Sprocket are on a mission to catch all of them down before they eat all of the corn. The show is developed and produced by Nickelodeon Digital Studio, in association with CBS Studios. Watch on Deadline Season one of Star Trek Scouts is available now on Nickelodeon’s Blaze and the Monster Machines YouTube channel.
