So far, fans have already seen the debut of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, the return of Strange New Worlds for Season 4, and the release of Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown, bringing one of the franchise's most beloved crews back for a new adventure. And there is still plenty more on the horizon, with Star Trek: Outposts Unknown arriving in October as the franchise's first dedicated outpost-building game, while November will bring the highly anticipated Magic: The Gathering x Star Trek crossover set. With Strange New Worlds still moving toward its fifth and final season and the anniversary celebrations continuing across games, comics, collectibles, and more, Star Trek's landmark year is far from finished. In a new announcement from Cryptic, Star Trek is about to get an unexpected and amazing new crossover this coming November, one that will bring together generations of characters from different eras of the franchise. Star Trek Online is celebrating the franchise's 60th anniversary by bringing three generations of Spock together for its next major season, Rediscovered. Ethan Peck makes his Star Trek Online debut as the younger Lieutenant Spock from Strange New Worlds, while Piotr Michael voices an older Captain Spock from the era of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Most notably, the game will also reuse archival dialogue recorded by Leonard Nimoy as Commander Spock, allowing the original actor's performance to become part of the same story. Launching September 22 on PC before arriving on PlayStation and Xbox on November 10, Rediscovered will also continue Star Trek Online's ongoing remaster of its classic The Ultimate Klingon storyline. The new episode, "The City on the Edge of Never," returns players to 2409 as disturbances begin spreading across the galaxy following the disappearances of Lieutenant Miral Paris and Klingon antagonist B'vat. A message left behind on the Gateway Planet ultimately launches captains across different periods of Star Trek history, providing the excuse for Peck, Nimoy, and Michael's different versions of Spock to cross paths within the same adventure. The season also introduces the Know Thy Enemy space TFO event centered around one of B'vat’s Klingon holo-simulations, alongside a new Rediscovered event with special rewards. Additional 60th-anniversary content includes a Starship Icons Prize Pack featuring 60 possible ships, a Rediscovered mini bundle with two holographic Spock bridge officers, and a new gifting system that lets players purchase select Zen Store bundles for friends and fleet members. It's a massive update that's befitting of this monumental year for Star Trek fans, bringing together both old and new Spock iterations into one exciting adventure.
