Stacey Solomon shows off living room at new home with ‘biggest fireplace she’s ever seen’ after selling Pickle Cottage

TV STAR Stacey Solomon has given followers a glimpse into her new jaw-dropping home – featuring a GIANT fireplace – after saying goodbye to Pickle Cottage. Presenter Stacey let fans have a peek inside the lounge of the impressive property following the sale of her £1.3 million “dream home”. It’s so peaceful and light! I can’t work out if the fireplace is too big for the room or if it’s perfect. Sign up for the Showbiz newsletter Thank you! “All I do know for sure is I can not wait to hang stockings off of it and decorate it for Christmas!” She told followers in the walk-around video: “Welcome to the living room, or sitting room, or front room, whatever you call it. “This is one of my favourite rooms in the whole house. It’s so beautiful. There’s so much light. The windows, the tall ceilings, everything. “The floor is really lovely as well. It’s a real wood floor. It definitely needs a sand back. But imagine this in a dark walnut. Oh, I can’t wait.” She continued: “The fireplace, the fireplace of my actual dreams. It’s the biggest fireplace I’ve seen in my life. I don’t think you can get context of how big it is. Most read in Showbiz “So I’ll put my phone down here, and I’m going to stand next to it so you can see just how huge it is. It is taller than me. Is it too tall? Is this fireplace too tall for the room? It makes it look short. But it’s so pretty. “The brickwork, the open fire, all of the ornate woodwork is so pretty but it does make it does weirdly give the illusion that the room is short because it’s so big. I love it. I don’t know. They’re of an era and a time that just makes me feel like I’ve gone back in time. “But overall, I love, love, love, love this room. I can’t wait to decorate that fireplace for Christmas.” She asked: “Would you keep it? Would you keep the fireplace, or does it make the room look short?” Fans commented: “Oh my word I was so shocked when you stood in front of the fireplace. I’m glad you stood in front of the fire place, I would never expect it to be this big.” The property boasts a bedroom with a huge walk-in wardrobe, ensuite and its very own sauna. The presenter is set to make more memories in luxurious new pad alongside her husband Joe Swash and children, Rex, 7, Rose, 4, and Belle, 3, and her older sons Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 14. Stacey previously revealed that she ended up having privacy and security concerns after showing off Pickle Cottage plenty of times whilst she was living there – so isn’t going to show the outside of the house this time around. Before exiting Pickle Cottage – where she tied the knot back in 2022 – Stacey shared an emotional goodbye in a heartwarming post. It comes after the singer had a trio of nominations at the latest National Television Awards, but lost out on all of them. However, the star is flying high after bagging a new presenter role on the upcoming series 15 of The Voice alongside Alesha Dixon – who will take over from Emma Willis. The duo will join Girls Aloud singer Cheryl, Kelly Rowland, will.i.am and rapper Aitch after the controversial axing of Sir Tom Jones. Comment now
