We’re moving out of Pickle Cottage, which I never, ever thought I’d say, imminently.“The reason that we haven’t said anything up until this point is because anyone who’s ever moved before knows what it’s like, you don’t know if it’s going to happen until it actually happens.“Leaving Pickle Cottage was a massive, massive decision for us, we had a lot of people we need to speak to, we had to get the kids around to the idea. We needed to speak to all of our lovely neighbours, our lovely friends in the area.“Even the thought of selling Pickle Cottage felt impossible.“We’ve just waited until someone amazing came along and fell in love with Pickle Cottage.“Pickle Cottage is our dream house. As soon as we moved there we fell in love with it, I still love it so, so much. It’s a really special place to us, I gave birth to both the girls there, we got married there.”Swash said of the move: “It’s the best for our family.”Solomon explained: “I especially, and Joe in the last few years has got on board with me, always wanted to rescue more animals, grow more vegetables.“We’ve always been thinking if there was ever a chance to move further out and get a bit more land then we would consider it.“We saw somewhere, found somewhere, and we could have a massive vegetable patch, offer our land to animals who need it. We could bring the horses back there. We went to see it.”Swash said moving was not an easy decision for the couple as they had built their lives at Pickle Cottage, but they believe their new home will allow the family to “flourish”.Solomon added: “It’s a project. We’re moving somewhere really different and it does need a lot of love.Read More“I loved bringing Pickle Cottage back to life, everything I did there, I loved.
