St. Petersburg (Fla.) guard Nijaun Harris and the Florida Rebels completed their dominance on the Nike EYBL circuit, defeating Drive Nation to secure the 17U Peach Jam today in South Carolina. During the final, Harris played his role as backing man to senior teammate, Calvary Christian (Fla.) five-star Cayden Daughtry. The St.Petersburg guard put up 22 points and seven rebounds to lead the Rebels into the EYBL Championship final, with an 82-79 semifinal victory over CP3. The Rebels’ semi-final opponent was led by the number one prospect from Harris’s class, with class of 2028, Eagles Landing (Ga.) five-star AJ Williams. Following their win over CP3, the Rebels would have a much easier time of it in the final, winning 60-71 as Harris put up 11 points and four rebounds. After the class of 2028 prospect led the way for the Rebels in the semifinal, the team’s leading man stepped up in the final, with Daughtry putting up an explosive 33 points and nine rebounds, finishing the campaign as the most effective player at both the Peach Jam and the EYBL circuit. Over the entire Nike EYBL circuit this year, across the four circuit events, Daughtry finished the year as the most clinical scorer, averaging 25.6 points. Following his 2026 Peach Jam campaign, he is expected to be named as Peach Jam MVP, averaging 32.3 points going into today’s final. Meanwhile, Harris, playing the majority of minutes for the Rebels, put up an 11.5 average, recording the second most rebounds for the Rebels with 7.0 rebounds. This put him behind Orange Park Fleming Island (Fla.) forward Carson Crawford. Following the conclusion of the 2026 Peach Jam, the class of 2028 prospect will now turn his attention back to the recruitment trail.
