Spotify is down - live updates on music streamer outage

Starting around 8:45 am Pacific, the music streaming platform Spotify suddenly spiked on the outage tracking site Down Detector with nearly 2,000 reports of listeners claiming the app, website and desktop app were all down.Anecdotally, we found that the browser version won't load. The app works, but it's very slow and doesn't always get where we want it to go. However, like the Ongoing Issues page it hasn't seen any recent updates.The last one I can see is from July 27. 2026-08-05T16:30:48.688Z Are you trying to use Spotify? Reloading the page doesn't do anything.The mobile app seems to be working better but it's very slow and takes awhile to respond to my inputs.
