Spotify is launching a brand-new music feature that aims to make you a better runner. The new Running Mode feature works by personalizing playlists to your running goals, music taste, and tempo. Running Mode sprints onto Spotify for iPhone Spotify’s new Running Mode is exclusive to iPhone users in select markets to start. “Premium users on iOS in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Sweden can find Running Mode in the Fitness Hub beginning today,” Spotify says. “From there, choose one of 25 curated running presets and make it your own by customizing your workout type (like interval, steady, or pyramid), duration, Beats per Minute, and what type of music you’re in the mood for. Press play, and Spotify will guide your run with music tailored to your workout.” The company adds that Running Mode includes “optional audio cues in English to help guide you through your workout.” Spotify’s new Running Mode is an extension of its Prompted Playlists and guided workout features.
