Sign in to your How-To Geek account It's an important weekend for Peter Parker fans with the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in theaters. With the popular superhero on the minds of many, this is the perfect time to watch your favorite Spider-Man movies on streaming. Where are the Spider-Man movies streaming? Find the live-action Spider-Man movies in one place If you subscribe to Disney+, then you're in luck. Every live-action Spider-Man movie—except Brand New Day, which is now in theaters—released this century is now streaming on Disney+. That list includes three from Tobey Maguire, two from Andrew Garfield, and three from Tom Holland. Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy revolutionized the superhero genre. 2002's Spider-Man reshaped the modern summer blockbuster, as it became the first superhero movie based on a comic book to gross over $100 million in its opening weekend. Raimi's trilogy also includes what I consider the best Spider-Man movie of all time, Spider-Man 2. Unfortunately, Garfield's Spider-Man movies ultimately disappointed. Garfield is an excellent actor and my pick for the best Peter Parker. However, his two solo outings as superhero—The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2—are often ranked among the lower-tier live-action Spider-Man movies. After debuting in Captain America: Civil War, Holland headlined three Spider-Man movies: Homecoming, Far From Home, and No Way Home. In No Way Home, fans went wild over the team-up involving the Spider-Men played by Maguire, Garfield, and Holland. No Way Home is now one of Holland's best movies. As for the recent animated movies from Sony, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is also on Disney+. However, you'll have to go to Netflix to watch the Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks a fresh start Prepare for more Spider-Man movies in the future Credit: Sony Pictures After a five-year hiatus, Holland returned as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. It's a fitting title, as Holland begins a new chapter as an older version of the character. After the events of No Way Home, Peter focused on Spider-Man's duties over his personal life. The physical and mental toll of being Spider-Man has led to a dangerous mutation that Peter can't control. It could not have come at a worse time, as a new threat terrorizes the city. The opening weekend success of Brand New Day suggests that Spider-Man is the most important character for Marvel going forward. According to Deadline, Spider-Man: Brand New Day earned $168 million domestically on opening day, smashing the record previously held by Avengers: Endgame. With a record-breaking debut, I would expect Holland to remain as Spider-Man for the foreseeable future.
