SpaceX just launched two Falcon-9 rockets to space within 38 minutes

The first Falcon 9 lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, carrying eight satellites for Louisiana-based telecommunications company Globalstar.The satellites were successfully deployed into low-Earth orbit, with separation beginning nearly an hour after launch. The mission, designated USSF-366, was carried out for the US Space Force and is believed to be linked to a classified national security payload.While details about the spacecraft remain undisclosed, space analysts have suggested the mission could involve satellites based on SpaceX's Starshield platform, a military-focused version of its Starlink technology designed for government and defense applications. Both missions also featured successful booster recoveries. The Florida-launched Falcon 9 first stage returned to Cape Canaveral roughly eight minutes after liftoff, marking its 14th flight. Meanwhile, the booster used for the USSF-366 mission landed aboard the droneship Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean, completing its 18th mission.The achievement surpasses SpaceX's previous record, set in August 2024, when two Falcon 9 rockets launched 65 minutes apart.The rapid-fire launches highlight the company's growing ability to conduct airline-like space operations.
