SP leaders abuse each other in Akhilesh Yadav's presence during meeting. He reacts

The Samajwadi Party (SP) has dissolved its organisational units in Uttar Pradesh’s Etah and Kasganj districts after two senior party leaders clashed and abused each other in front of party chief Akhilesh Yadav during a meeting convened in Lucknow to discuss preparations for the 2027 Assembly polls, sources said.According to sources, around 250 senior leaders and office-bearers from Etah and Kasganj were present at the meeting when an argument broke out between SP leader Manjeet Yadav, nephew of former Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council chairman Ramesh Yadav, and former Etah district panchayat chairman Yogendra Singh Yadav.The clash reportedly began after Manjeet Yadav objected to certain remarks made by former Etah district panchayat chairman Jugendra Singh Yadav during the meeting. The disagreement soon escalated into a heated exchange and verbal abuse in the presence of Akhilesh Yadav and other senior party leaders, sources said.Following the incident, the SP dissolved the district executive committees of both Etah and Kasganj, along with all frontal organisations in the two districts, sources said. The meeting was held as the SP steps up preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. The party is seeking to strengthen its organisation ahead of the polls, with both districts considered politically significant.The BJP currently holds all four Assembly constituencies in Etah district. In Kasganj, the BJP holds three of the district’s four Assembly seats, while the SP holds one. The dissolution of the organisational units comes against the backdrop of the SP's efforts to coordinate its local leadership and prepare its cadre for the upcoming electoral contest.Sources said the clash was not necessarily viewed as an isolated incident but reflected differences among local leaders. The party leadership is expected to reorganise the district units and put in place new office-bearers as part of its preparations for the 2027 polls.“These things happen, it’s okay. This is all because of the arrogance that comes with money. Remember, whoever becomes too wealthy will eventually leave you behind.
