Southwest monsoon bringing moderate to heavy rain to over 20 areas

Floods and landslides remain possible. So far, there are no new low pressure areas (LPAs) or potential tropical cyclones inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). But PAGASA reiterated on Wednesday morning that it is not ruling out the possibility of LPA formation during the week. The weather bureau expects two or three tropical cyclones to develop within or enter PAR in September.
