South Florida man arrested again for allegedly posing as stock investor

A South Florida man is once again facing fraud charges after allegedly conning a new victim with false promises of stock market investments, authorities said. Claudio María Cassina, 53, was arrested in Broward County and now faces charges of grand theft and investment-related fraud. Cassina was arrested in 2024 in a similar scheme in which he allegedly swindled multiple victims out of more than $250,000.
