Sony’s Latest PS5 Sales Data Shows Digital Pulling Even Further Ahead
Sony's plans to embrace an all-digital future are starting to gain ground, as the company has confirmed that 82% of all PS5 games, microtransactions, and DLC from Q1 2026--covering April 1 to June 30--were sold digitally. This is an increase of the previous ratio of digital games sold across the entire 2025 financial, which averaged 78%.
