The challenge immediately sparked an angry reaction online, with one fan writing: “Heaven will get red for that challenge in PL lol. So reckless.” Another posted: “That was reckless from Heaven. He loses possession and then goes all-in on Kvaratskhelia. In a competitive game, that kind of challenge could easily leave you playing with 10 men.” And a third fumed: “That should be a RED card for Ayden Heaven. Very reckless tackle on Kvaratskhelia in a friendly game.” Senegal international Mbaye had put PSG ahead in the second minute, but United responded well and eventually found an equaliser on 32 minutes through the impressive Bryan Mbeumo.
