A former youth prodigy, Lisowski turned pro at 18 – two years after fearing for his life. Following a shock Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis, the teen had to go through 16 gruelling rounds of chemo after being “convinced I was going to die”. Lisowski also tragically lost his father in March last year, but managed to bounce back in the best possible style by winning his maiden ranking crown mere months after the loss.
