Small plane crashes near North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines

Two people were “conscious and breathing” after the small plane they were in crashed near North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines on Friday, authorities said. The crash happened on the grounds of South Florida State Hospital at 800 E. Cypress Drive just west of the airport.
