It will then evaluate the offers before deciding which investors it wants to bring on board. The company is looking to raise around $200 million, although the final amount and valuation could still change as discussions continue, the report mentioned.Investment bank Kotak is managing the fundraising process.VIKRAM-1 LAUNCH CHANGES INVESTOR SENTIMENT The company's confidence appears to have grown significantly after the successful launch of Vikram-1 on July 18.The mission marked a major milestone for India's private space industry, making Skyroot the first private Indian company to develop and launch an orbital launch vehicle.The achievement has also changed how investors view the company. According to people aware of the discussions, investor interest has increased considerably since the launch, with several domestic and international investors now exploring participation in the funding round.The report said Skyroot is expected to complete the fundraising over the next two months and is also looking to bring more Indian investors onto its shareholder base.Meanwhile, several existing investors are also expected to take part in the new round. According to the report, sovereign wealth funds GIC and Temasek are considering fresh investments. Domestic investor 360 One Asset is also among those evaluating an investment in the company.If completed, this will be Skyroot's second fundraising exercise in under six months.In May, the startup raised $60 million from investors including Ram Shriram's Sherpalo, GIC, BlackRock, Arkam Ventures and others. That funding round valued the company at $1.1 billion, helping it achieve unicorn status.The latest fundraising comes on the back of a series of milestones.
