BALLER LEAGUE will no longer be shown on Sky Sports, as it eyes a free-to-air deal moving forward. The celebrity six-a-side competition, which featured the likes of YouTube icon KSI, actor Idris Elba and ex-players such as Micah Richards and Alan Shearer, will not be on Sky’s roster for its fourth season. Chief Executive of Baller League, Felix Starck, wants to make the competition free-to-air, according to the Guardian. While it will continue to be streamed on YouTube, the organisation are also seeking some sort of free-to-air tv deal. Baller League was only launched two years ago in Germany, as World Cup-winning stars Mats Hummels and Lukas Podolski backed it heavily. It took place in the UK for the first time in 2025, with numerous high profile individuals getting involved. Stars such as ex-footballers Jens Lehmann, Micah Richards and Alan Shearer, influencers KSI, Niko Omilana and Angry Ginge and actor Idris Elba have all been involved. However, without the support of major broadcaster Sky Sports, it will be interesting to see where the six-a-side competition goes from here.
