IT is Catch The Bus month, as the charity Bus Users UK encourages everyone to switch to public transport. So if you are keen to try it out, we have just the ticket and a few extra savings to help you on your way . . . HOP ON AND ROLL: If you have been on a First Bus this September using a ticket purchased and activated in the First Bus app you have a chance to earn a free Greggs breakfast roll and a hot drink. EVENING SAVER: Heading out in Basingstoke? Stagecoach South and Hampshire County Council have teamed up to offer £1 single bus fares on all services after 7pm, running every evening until October 31. Fares are usually capped at £3 so that could be a £2 saving per journey. CASTLE CUT: In Wales, get 50 per cent off a TrawsCymru app ticket this month, using the code CTBM2026. Or show a TrawsCymru bus ticket for 2-for-1 entry at Caernarfon Castle and Criccieth Castle until September 30. FAMILY FLEXI SAVER: Take the family out on weekends this month for £6.40, saving £3, with the Leicester Buses Family Flexi Day ticket.
