Sincere Walks Back His Claim That Amora Would Have Been “The One” During Casa Amor on ‘Love Island USA’

After a tumultuous journey on Love Island USA, Sincere Rhea and Melanie Moreno made it to the season 8 finale as one of America’s four favorite couples. Throughout the season, Sincere explored multiple connections with OG Islander Melanie and two Bombshells: Sol Dean and Amora Robinson.In case it’s not burned into your memory and you need a refresher, Sincere coupled up with Amora at Casa Amor and told her she “would have been the one” before he went back to the Villa with Melanie. Now, he’s opening up about his Casa experience and whether he would have actually given Amora a fair shot had the timing been different.“Do you think now that if you had more time with Casa alone with her, would there be a chance that you would possibly pick her? Or was it always just going to be Melanie for you?” Complex’s reporter, Tiffany Hunt, aka Mami Tiff, asked Sincere during an interview published on July 18.He claimed that he “respects” Amora as a “human being, very amazing person, very nice spirit” before claiming he was “in a place of emotional immaturity” and “not in depth with what I was truly meaning” at Casa Amor.“If I was able to go back now and just honestly have that foresight of what I was saying in that moment, I would just bit the bullet there and just have been like, ‘Hey, you know, I appreciate you. Thank you so much for being a part of the experience. Thank you so much for being a good friend,’” he explained. “That was really it, because at the end of the day, it was going to be Melanie…I was really connected to that since day one. I’ve always just been so locked in with and felt so close to [her].”Sincere also walked back saying Amora would have been “the one,” adding, “Amora is a great person. But it was just a lot of certain word choice that I would definitely go and take back, for sure.”^^^ All this comes as fans speculate that he and Melanie might have called it quits after returning from the Love Island USA Villa. Melanie apparently went out to dinner with Zach Georgiou, Kayda Bosse, and Charlie Georgiou in L.A. on Saturday, July 18. She was spotted taking a video in the background of Charlie’s Instagram Stories, sans Sincere.It’s unclear where Melanie and Sincere currently stand beyond the Villa, but the timing of his statement has fans side-eyeing the whole situation all over again.
