The pair are said to have met for dinner in London in October 2022 to discuss a way forward following a series of rows. Documents submitted to the High Court claim that Mr Cowell offered an attractive fee arrangement for a deal he was working on at the time. The documents say: “The terms of that offer were written on a napkin which Mr Cowell then signed.” It offered up to 15 per cent of any deal of more than £75million. The deal was later formalised at a meeting at Mr Cowell’s Cotswolds home in February 2023. Mr Rosenblatt claims to have not been paid at all for the agreement.
