Simba slashes summer duvet by 20% – it’s keeping shoppers cool ‘despite the heatwave’

The selling point is Stratos, the cool-touch treatment Simba uses across its range, which the brand says tested up to 3°C cooler than untreated fabric in lab testing. What that buys you is a duvet that feels cool when you climb in, rather than simply weighing less than the duvet it replaced. It carries a 4.8 rating from 523 reviews on Simba’s own site, and shoppers actually stay cool under it, judging by the reviews. One buyer said it kept him “cool and comfortable” through an incredibly hot summer, and another reported “no sweating at all”, though the picture isn’t unanimous. A reviewer writing in June, during this year’s earlier hot spell, said he was still feeling warm underneath it, and couldn’t tell whether the weather had simply outpaced the cooling tech or whether his (non-Simba) duvet cover was blocking it.
