Sienna Miller has revealed she was warned she could become 'obsolete' when she turned 40 due to a lack of roles for older women.The actress is taking centre stage in the juicy Sky drama War, where she and Dominic West play a high-flying couple in the midst of a divorce.While her performance in the series is already earning critical praise, Sienna has shared that she's been told she's 'lucky' by other actresses that she's only just turning 40, as they struggled to find work when they reached the same milestone.Sienna plays Carla Duval while Dominic, 56, takes on the character of her ex Morgan Henderson in the legal drama which follows two elite London law firms going head-to-head for victory. She said: 'I feel less like I have to prove something, and I'm not sure whether that's because I don't have anything to prove, or I just don't care about proving myself any more.'I remember speaking to actresses who were like: ''You're so lucky that you're turning 40 now, because we were obsolete when that happened.'' But I still wish I'd played Juliet.' They also welcomed a child in January 2024.Sienna also shares a 14-year-old daughter, Marlowe, with actor Tom Sturridge, who she dated for four years until July 2015.In a new interview, Sienna told how the shoot was tough due to her pregnancy and that it was long days of filming which saw her 'leaving and coming home in the dark'.She starred alongside Phoebe Fox in War, who was also pregnant during shooting. Her pregnancy was written into the plot however.Sienna joked to The Observer: 'She got in first. We sat together scoffing Freddos in between shots.'It comes after earlier this month Sienna said that she feels like a 'lactating heifer' and is struggling to dress her 'massive boobs' after being 'pregnant or breastfeeding for nearly four years'.
