This latest trip to the podium resulted in a second-round doctor stoppage at the hands of Johnny Magna. After absorbing his opponent’s second slap and remaining conscious, Hager was clearly in a lot of discomfort. As he stumbled back and medical professionals surrounded him, red fluid began to leak from his tear ducts. Hager said in disbelief: “He hit me right in the eye.” After a win on his Power Slap debut, two losses on the bounce in the space of two months is not good news for Hager.
