Star Wars Zero Company: Complete Guide To Cly Kullervo Published Aug 27, 2026, 12:00 PM EDT Star Wars Zero Company has a ridiculous amount of operators. In fact, you can make some yourself and recruit them to go out on missions for you. However, there are six main operators who have their own fleshed-out stories - and an unlockable achievement for completing those stories. In this guide, we'll go over everything there is to know about Cly Kullervo, the Mandalorian bounty hunter you have likely seen in the promotional material. She's a unique operator, but starts off shrouded in mystery, and it's up to you whether you even want to recruit her. Meeting Cly And Accepting Her Offer Cly is unique from the rest of Zero Company's main cast, in that you don't start with her, and you don't really encounter her during the main story. Around Cycle 14, Cly will come to The Den and find you in your office. Here, she will make a proposal: she will join Zero Company at no charge if you help her with her mission. Cly is very cagey about the details, and wants you to agree to her demands here and now. When presented with the option of having Cly join your party, say yes. There are no negative ramifications to this - just side quests that you'd have with any other companion. And if you change your mind, you can always refuse to do her quests when she brings them up later on. Cly's First Target Cly came to me about cashing in our deal on Cycle 20. At this point, she came back into Hawk's office and told me we're going after a target: Idra Farrar. Here, you can choose to accept or turn her down. Accept, and you unlock Cly's first companion mission: Best Served Cold. This operation is your standard fare - wipe everyone out. Personally, going in hard and fast worked best. My party consisted of: Hawks, Cly, Trick, and a droid to keep injecting us with more AP. Once the fight is over, Cly will try to get some information out of Idra: the location of someone called Kervis. Cly's Second Target Major main story spoiler ahead.Cly's next mark won't be tracked down until after Order 66 and after Hawks has been infected by the Coil. Once the latter has taken place, Cly will come to you again, asking you to help her take down her final target, Kervis. Agree, and this starts Cly's second mission: Without Honor or Mercy. You find out that Kervis and his allies are former members of her dead clan - and they're the ones who sold them out. During a cutscene, it becomes apparent that they, like Hawks, are infected by the Coil, having turned to Fathom to forget their crimes against their own family. During the fight, it also becomes apparent that Cly is closer to Kervis than she initially let on - he's her husband. When the fight starts, keep Hawks near any enemies you take down. That allows you to benefit from being infected by the plague and gain abilities that would otherwise go to the others. For this reason, you might not have to worry too much about healing Hawks, since the Coil can heal them. Once again, it makes it a good mission to go in all guns blazing, albeit with a bit more difficulty thanks to the enemies' Coil abilities. Once the fight is won, Cly has a moment with her husband. She then kills him, and her quest for vengeance is over. While her mission is over, she will see yours through to the end and stay with Zero Company. Spoiler warning ends. How To Use Cly In Combat By default, Cly will have a pistol. You may be tempted to change this to something that packs a bit more punch, but I would strongly advise against this. Cly performs best when you've stacked up Advantage, so it's handy to have her get a couple of shots in, and then still have another turn to use her abilities. But as I said, it's the abilities that eat up Advantage that make her stand out. Cly is able to use her jetpack to fly around the map, giving her extra mobility without using any AP. Better yet, she knocks enemies - and allies - back wherever she lands. If you put enough Focus points into the ability, she will even apply Burning to anyone too close. Need to make it to the evac zone, but couldn't quite make it? Having Cly fly over to them might be enough to knock them in, if you angle it right. This saved my skin once. Other than that, Cly's main ability involves her Electroweb Darts. Any enemy she hits with a dart is shocked. Then, when you use Electroweb Surge, it will damage anyone hit with a dart, and anyone around Cly. This damage stacks, so you can hit anyone nearby you with a dart for two rounds of damage. Just make sure you have enough Advantage to do both abilities - and get a shot in with her pistol if not. Cly's ability to deal multiple rounds of damage in one round also makes her a great operator to make critical hits. I suggest levelling up her Bonds with other operators, and then going all out on any buffs to her critical hit chance and damage.
