A SHOPLIFTING suspect has gone viral after her mugshot left stunned social media users doing a double take. The 35-year-old was hauled into custody over an alleged $580 theft, but it was her familiar-looking face that quickly stole the spotlight. The batteries combined were worth around $580, the New York Post reports. An employee at the store reportedly recognized Quast following another alleged theft just two days earlier and alerted cops. During that earlier incident, a woman allegedly walked out of the store with batteries before leaving in a white Subaru. The employee gave police a description of the vehicle and its license plate, according to a criminal complaint obtained by The Watch MN. Quast reportedly admitted taking the battery packs when she was arrested and was booked on a gross misdemeanor theft charge. But it was her Wright County Sheriff’s Office mugshot that sent social media into meltdown. Online records reportedly show it was far from her first run-in with cops. She has previously been arrested over alleged offences including drug possession, DWI, theft, fleeing police and providing false identification, according to reports.
