The batteries combined were worth around $580, the New York Post reports. An employee at the store reportedly recognized Quast following another alleged theft just two days earlier and alerted cops. During that earlier incident, a woman allegedly walked out of the store with batteries before leaving in a white Subaru. The employee gave police a description of the vehicle and its license plate, according to a criminal complaint obtained by The Watch MN. Quast reportedly admitted taking the battery packs when she was arrested and was booked on a gross misdemeanor theft charge. But it was her Wright County Sheriff’s Office mugshot that sent social media into meltdown. Most read in The Sun Users were quick to point out Quast’s striking resemblance to 57-year-old singer and actress J Lo. “For a moment I thought it was jlo lmao,” one person wrote. Another joked: “There’s a glitch in the matrix lol.” Others couldn’t resist making references to Lopez’s 2002 hit Jenny from the Block. Do it for us. This your sister, girl.” Someone else said they “definitely thought it was JLo,” while another joked: “If it was J-Lo she should have been charged with stealing vocals.” Quast was released the day after her August 30 arrest, according to reports. Online records reportedly show it was far from her first run-in with cops. She has previously been arrested over alleged offences including drug possession, DWI, theft, fleeing police and providing false identification, according to reports.
