Shooting of illegal immigrant prompts war of words between Homeland Security, New York officials
Immigrant-rights activists looked at last Thursday's ICE shooting in New York and saw a case of out-of-control agents endangering the life of a 28-year-old man and his 5-year-old son. Homeland Security saw an illegal immigrant gang subject with a lengthy rap sheet who'd previously evaded officers and who was resisting arrest and drove his Honda crossover SUV directly at them, forcing them to open fire to defend their own lives.
