Shock exit for two major Casualty stars amid deadly anniversary special

| Soaps Reporter Published August 12, 2026 10:44am Updated August 12, 2026 10:44am Nicole and Faith are saying goodbye to the ED (Pictures: BBC) Sammy T Dobson and Kirsty Mitchell have reportedly left their Casualty roles as the medical drama’s 40th anniversary looms. Sammy joined the cast as Nicole Piper in 2024. The character was part of a hugely popular romance storyline with Ngozi Okoye (Adesuwa Oni). After Ngozi relapsed and started drinking again, her relationship with Nicole suffered greatly. Ngozi was eventually admitted to rehab, and then moved to Bournemouth to start a new life without Nicole. Kirsty’s Casualty alter-ego Faith Cadogan arrived at Holby back in 2019. The character was in a relationship with paramedic Lev Malinovsky (Uriel Emil), but their marriage fell apart when Faith discovered that Lev was attracted to men. Both characters have faced huge amounts of drama over the last few years, but their time at Holby will soon come to an end.
