In footage shared with The Sun, the musician was then seen shooting hoops with American football player Tom Brady. Tennis star and seven times Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic was seen giving Justin some pointers before he attempted to shoot the ball into the net. He was then seen walking up and down the court bouncing the ball as he waited for his turn to shoot. Fans watched Novak take his shot but the ball hit the rim of the hoop. The World Cup will see Spain and Argentina face off in tomorrow’s final. Most read in Showbiz Justin said ahead of performing: “The Fifa World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can.” The show will contribute towards the Fifa Global Citizen Education Fund, which has the aim of improving access to education and football for children worldwide. Justin added: “I’m grateful to be part of this half-time show, and even more grateful knowing it’s already helping expand access to education for children around the world.” Organisers announced Madonna, Shakira and BTS as the co-headline acts. The half-time show has been put together by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and will also feature cameos from Burna Boy, characters from Sesame Street and The Muppets, a children’s choir from Staten Island, and Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel.
